Sub: 18th Delhi International Leather Fair, 03-05, December, 2010.  Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
 
Dear Member,
 
We wish to inform that The 18th Delhi International Leather fair (DILF) will be organized at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi by India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO) New Delhi from 3rd -5th , December, 2010. This event is being organized in collaboration with Council for Leather Exports as a main co sponsor.

The details of 18th DILF, as provided by ITPO, are given below for information.

Products of Display :

All type of Footwear & Footwear Uppers, Leather Products, Handbags, Wallets, Purses, Travel ware, Briefcase, Belts, rucksacks, Portfolios, Leather Garments, Hand Gloves,, Industrial Leather Gloves, Aprons, Harness & Saddlery, Finished Leather all kinds,  Components and accessories, Leather Chemicals, Leather processing machinery and Leather Goods Manufacturing machinery etc.

Venue                 :           Hall- 10 & 11,  Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

Shell Scheme:

Minimum Booking 9 sq. mtrs. Facilities provided under shell scheme or a built up stand of 9 sq. mtrs. are:

Stall will be constructed with prefab system with a height of 2.4 mtr. Each panel will be of 1 mtr. width. A built up booth of 9 sq.mtr. will have partition, floor covering, facia with Company Name, one table, three chairs, three shelves/hanger bars of 1 mtr each, five spot lights, one 5 amp. 220 volt three-pin socket and one waste basket.  No nailing will be allowed on the panels for fixing photographs, posters, banners etc.

Bare Space:

Minimum booking 36 sq. mtrs. In the case of bare space, the stall should be constructed by participating company. It should be constructed in such a way that the visibility of adjacent booth is not affected. The stall height should not be more than 2.4 meters. In case of any deviation, the drawing should be sent to ITPO for approval.

Cost of Participation :

The details of cost of participation in the fair are as under.

10.30% Service Tax will be charged. 

15% discount on bare space cost will be provided to Indian Companies

The ITPO will provide (deluxe model stand construction), carpeting, interior decoration, cafeteria etc., with a view to further boost the image of this event on international standards.  

Sample Calculation of Participation Cost for 9 sq. mtr Booth.

Booking with 25% payment of participation fee on or before	October 15, 2010.
Balance 75% payment on or before	November 15, 2010.

Allotment Of Stalls:

As per inform of ITPO Booths will be allotted on first come first basis subject to optimum utilization of space. Early payment will ensure an appropriate location

Space Booking :
Members interested to participate in the fair are requested to send the 25% advance payment as per their space requirement along with the duly filled Application Form (as per proforma enclosed). The payment can be made by Cheque / DD drawn in favour of Council for Leather Exports. 

Please send the filled in Application Form along with payment to Council’s Head Office in Chennai OR Regional Offices in Delhi, Kanpur, Kolkata, Mumbai and Agra. These may be sent on or before 15th October, 2010.

To make the event successful and fruitful, ITPO with support from Council for Leather Exports will undertake   extensive publicity for increasing the number of business visitors from abroad.
