NOTIFICATION
NO.131/2002-CUSTOMS
G.S.R.783 (E):- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), NO.21/2002-Customs, dated the 1st March, 2002, namely:-
In the said notification,
(1) in the Table :-
(a) against S.No.114, in column (3), after entry
(t) , the following entry shall be inserted, namely -,
“(u) “Glass shet (clear or opaque or cloured glass) for use with mosaic; “ ;
(b) against Sr.No.167A, in column (3), after entry (j), the following entry shall be inserted namely
“(k) Polishes, Creams and shoe finishes in any form; “
(C) against S.No.168, in column (2), for the Heading “52”, the headings. “43, 52,” shall be substituted.
(2) in the Annexure, in condition No. 21A, in sub-conditions (a) and (b), for the words “similar containers all made of leather,”, the words “similar containers all made of leather or leather harness or leather saddlery,” shall respectively be substituted.
