Sub : Duty Entitlement Passbook Scheme (DEPB) – amendment – reg.
Dear Member
The Directorate General of Foreign Trade has issued a Notification No. 42 dated sept. 18,2008, thereby amending 1st sub-paragraph of para 4.3.1 of Foreign Trade Policy 2004-09. As per the said Notification, a unit in DTA shall be eligible to claim DEPB benefit, for supplies made to SEZ Developer/Co-developer and payments for which are received in Indian Rupees, with effectfrom 10.2.2006. A copy of the said Notification is enclosed herewith for ready reference of members.
