Sub : Regulations concerning Import of Hides/Skins/Leathers
Dear Members,
We wish to inform you that the Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying & Fisheries, Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India has issued a Notification dated March 28,2008 (enclosed at Annexure I) amending the earlier Notification of July 2001 (enclosed at Annexure – II), regarding the import of livestock products including hides/skins/leathers.
The above notifications are also hosted in the website www.dahd.nic.in, under the heading “Trade” under sub-heading “notification”.
Members may kindly note the above for adherence.
