Dear Members,
We forward herewith the following three circulars recently issued by the DGFT, New Delhi as detailed below:
1. Policy Circular No.17/2002-07 dated Jan 9, 2003 regarding conversion of the foreign currency receipts into equivalent rupees for computation of the credit under the DEPB scheme
2. DGFT Notification No.22/2002-07 dated 9.1.2003 in connection with condition of “import on export basis and “export of imported goods”
3. DGFT Public Notice No.60/2002-07 dated 21.1.2003 regarding neutralization of incidence of SAD through DEPB. Amendment of the relevant Para in Exim Policy with retrospective effect from April 1, 2002.
It is learnt that the DEPB rates are being re-worked to neutralize the SAD and the revised rates will be notified soon.
