USA restores zero-duty GSP benefits to India on import of certain type of leathers falling under Chapter 41

The United States Trade Representative (USTR) has published in the Federal Register, the availability of GSP to India on 42 eight-digit tariff lines with effect from Aug 22, 2001. The commodities on which GSP has been restored include raw material for leather. Accordingly, zero-duty benefit would now be available on import into the USA from India of the following items:
