Sub: Further simplification of AAYAAT-NIRYAAT form
As members are aware, the DGFT has devised a single common application form called AAYAAT-NIRYAAT form, with a view to simplify the procedures and reduce the transaction costs to the exporters in availing various schemes under the National Foreign Trade Policy. The said AAYAAT-NIRYAAT form is available in the DGFT website
www.dgft.delhi.nic.in
One of the information sought in the said application form vide Sl.No.13 of part I, pertains to annual domestic turnover, annual export turnover (segregating into physical and deemed export) and annual profit, for the preceding 3 licensing years.
In this regard, a few industry members represented to the Council that they are finding it very difficult to provide the above information. Moreover, it was also represented that such information are not directly relevant for the applications to be submitted for obtaining various scrips/ licenses. Based on such representation, the Council raised the leather industry’s concerns in the Open House Meet recently held in Kanpur, in which the DGFT was present along with senior officials of the Ministry.
In this background, we are pleased to inform our members that the matter has now been favourably considered by the DGFT and the requirement of furnishing information relating to annual profits etc has been dispensed with in the AAYAAT-NIRYAAT form.
A copy of the DGFT Public Notice 24 (RE-2005)/2004-09 dated June 24, 2005 issued for amending the said form is attached herewith for your information and future use for announcing the said form.
Member-exporters may kindly take note of the above, and avail the various schemes under the Foreign Trade Policy.
