Dear Member,
Please find enclosed herewith the following Notifications/Circulars issued by Central Board of Customs and Excise (CBEC) and DGFT for your information and reference.
CBEC NOTIFICATION/CIRCULAR

Customs Notification No.101/2007 dated 11.9.2007 regarding tariff concessions on specified items under Indo- Chilean Preferential Trade Agreement. It may be noted that the tanned or crust hides and skins of bovine (including buffalo) or equine animals falling under Tariff No.4104 have also been included in the list of items eligible for import duty reduction. However, as hides and skins are already allowed for import without any duty from any country, the inclusion of hides and skins under Tariff Heading 4104 for tariff concession will not have any effect .
