Dear Members,
We append below copy of Customs Circular No.89/2003 dated Oct 6, 2003 received from Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance, Government of India, New Delhi in connection with fixation of brand rate of duty drawback by the Central Excise field formation.
In addition to the clarifications offered in regard to allowing Brand Rate of duty drawback vide Customs Circular No.83/2003 dated 18.09.2003, the Department of Revenue has now further clarified the position vide Customs Circular No.89/2003, which is self explanatory.
