Sub: New DEPB rates
We hereby inform you that the Director General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), New Delhi has announced new DEPB rates for all export products including leather & leather products, consequent to recent lowering of peak rate of customs duty from 25% to 20% and total exemption of 4% SAD on all goods.
A copy of Public Notice No.47(RE-2003)/2002-07 dated February 9, 2004 issued in this regard alongwith
schedule of new DEPB rates for leather & leather products is appended herewith. The reduction in DEPB rates ranges between 2% and 5% for different products.
Member-exporters may please note the new DEPB rates.
