Sub: All Industry Rates of Drawback, 2001-02 - Corrigendum - regarding

All Industry Rates of Drawback, 2001-02, were notified vide notification No.29/2001-Cus(NT) dated 1.6.2001, and amended vide notifications No.30/2001-Cus(NT) dated 22.6.2001, 50/2001-Cus(NT) dated 4.10.2001, and 60/2001-Cus(NT) dated 26.11.2001.

2. I am directed to enclose a copy of the Public Notice No.1/2002 dated Feb 1, 2002, for rectification of errors appearing in the Notification No.50/2001 relating to SS Nos.64.181, 64.182, 64.183, 64.351, 64.352 and 64.353. Since, this is a corrigendum only, the change shall be operative from the date of the Notification, i.e. 4.10.2001.

3. It is requested that the printed Drawback Table as well as DAT drive may kindly be got updated on the lines of this corrigendum.

CORRIGENDUM

R.76(E) In the Notification No.50/2001-Cus(N.T.) dated Oct 4, 2001, published in Part-II, Section 3, Sub-section (i) of the Gazette of India (Extraordinary), vide GSR 756(E), date the Oct 4, 2001, the Central Government hereby makes the following corrections therein, in the following manner :-

1. In column 2, against Serial / Sub-Serial Nos 64.181, 64.182 and 64.183, the words "All kinds of leather Chappals / Sandals" shall be read as "All kinds of Children's leather Chappals / Sandals."

2. In column 2, against Serial / Sub-Serial Nos. 64.351, 64.352 and 64.353 the words "All kinds of Children's leather Chappals / Sandals" shall be read as "All kinds of Children's leather Chappal / Sandal Uppers."
